PYRATEX® is a pioneering R&D company that supplies brands with natural and environmentally friendly fabrics. Led by Regina Polanco, a Y-generation woman who is leading the sustainability revolution in the Fashion industry, the company develops high-quality knitted fabrics using natural resources, such as vegetal, upcycled, or biodegradable fibres. Examples of these fibres include seaweed, bamboo, orange peels, wood-based renewable fibre, or agricultural waste from banana production.

The company's goal is to replace synthetic and highly polluting textiles with Pyratex® natural fabrics to improve the quality, functionality, and sustainability of knit textiles. Established in 2014 in Madrid, PYRATEX® knits all its fabrics in Europe, with full control and traceability of their manufacturing supply chain from start to finish, which helps minimise the distance between each process and therefore reduces CO2 emissions.

The company has secured partnerships with well-known brands in the sportswear, underwear, children's, and ready-to-wear fashion industries, including Asics, Camper, Adolfo Dominguez, AZ Factory, Pepe Jeans, Scotch & Soda, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, and Ganni, among others.
